Managing People Effectively – An EBC Ascending Professionals Coffee Hour

This EBC Ascending Professionals Committee “Coffee Hour” offers those starting out in the environmental and energy an opportunity to come together in an open, informal discussion to share what management styles and approaches are most supportive and encouraging of professional growth. Topics of conversation will include: how to avoid feeling micromanaged, examples of how managers have created a workplace in which questions are welcomed, constructive feedback – and any other management related concerns or tips you bring to the group!

We hope this discussion will allow for some reflection on differing management styles, and help ascending professionals develop a toolbox of management skills.

Jamie Fitzpatrick of Tighe & Bond and the current Chair of the EBC Ascending Professionals Committee will provide light moderation.
