Massachusetts Energy Siting & Permitting: An EBC Member Discussion Meeting

Join EBC for an informal update on the siting and permitting recommendations of the Massachusetts Commission on Energy Infrastructure Siting and Permitting (CEISP) issued on March 29, 2024. On November 14, 2024 the Massachusetts Legislature passed legislation (Bill S.2979) that included the CEISP’s important proposals to expedite the permitting and siting of clean energy infrastructure and transmission projects. The Bill now sits with Governor Healey.

As an update to EBC's June 18, 2024 program, this EBC Energy Resources Committee Discussion Meeting will explore the current status of the CEISP recommendations, the Legislative impasse, the Governor's rejoinder and proposed legislation, and what we can expect next.

Richard Kanoff, Partner with Potomac Law Group, Adam Braillard, Partner with the law firm Prince Lobel Tye, and Eric Las, Vice President with Beals +Thomas, will moderate questions and facilitate the discussion. Attendees will have an open platform to discuss these topics and similar areas of interest.

EBC Discussion Meetings are open to EBC Members only. The intention of the meeting is to provide an opportunity for EBC Members to connect with others and discuss a current issue in the industry. Moderation will be light and all are encouraged to ask questions and provide their thoughts.
